Apple Watch is given a new look and upgrade starting with the Breathe App.
From the WDC 2021, Apple shares its latest updates on its watchOS. Apple’s Watch software called watchOS8 started off with its new update on the prominent Breathe app. New animation for Breathe was introduced, with a new “Reflect” prompt that encourages its users to push toward the journey of mindfulness. Moreover, Breathe has the ability to grab one’s attention all day in order to remind its user to take it easy and be mindful. While the updates to the feature might be small, Breathe itself is already a pretty great app.
Tai Chi is also added to the workout app as an exercise type that is trackable. Moreover, Fitness+ is also getting a novel Artist Spotlights that is built-in in order to integrate your music with the popular workouts. Furthermore, Fitness+ has been given praise for its various options for workouts, and Apple itself wants to push forward with a stream of newer features.
There is also a new Portraits watch face that loops in photos of people from the camera roll. You can choose a loved one or simply a friend and just add it to the watch face and the watch itself adds the cool little upgrades that provide the individual in the photo a certain sense of life. In this feature, sharing photos straight from the watch itself is also made easier.
A new weather tracking is likewise introduced, which now includes a feature that involves the next hour precipitation. While there are already apps like Dark Sky as well as Accuweather that offer such features, Apple seems to want to add the same features to Watch for its built-in feature for the weather.
New weather tracking was also briefly mentioned, including a “next hour precipitation” feature. Apps like Dark Sky and Accuweather already offer features like this, but it sounds like Apple wants to add the same kind of thing to the Watch and its built-in weather feature.
As of the moment, the Apple Watch is considered to be the most prominent smartwatch all over the world. In recent years, Android smartphone users have to the realization that brands like Samsung and more have not been manufacturing wearables with the same quality as that of Apple. Hence, there is a bigger demand for Apple Watch to support Android as well. However, it is unlikely that we’ll get to see that with the new watchOS8.
