The Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Tecno Mobile has just released the Tecno Phantom X, a brand new premium device. See if its specs are enough to have you reaching for your wallet!
The recently launched Tecno Phantom X was made to be classy, and with its slender chin, forehead, and eye-catching curved display, it definitely shows. Other visibly striking characteristics include its dual selfie cameras (built into a small, yet sophisticated pill-shaped component) along with its triple rear camera.
As noted by Tech Hindustan Times, this sparkling new Tecno device is available in two color choices, namely Starry Night Blue and Monet’s Summer. It houses a single RAM and storage variant, and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio SoC beneath its hood.
As the Chinese phone manufacturer has yet to disclose the price of this product (is likely to fairly soon anyway), read further down to get detailed information on this tempting phone’s specs before deciding on whether or not it’ll be worth the spending spree.
Specifications of the Tecno Phantom X
This newest addition to the Tecno smartphone family sports a 6.7-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED curved display of 1080 x 2350 pixels, supported by a 90Hz refresh rate. Again, this device is available in two different color options, but comes in only one variant. The processor behind its power is the octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, and it boasts 8GB of RAM along with 256GB worth of storage.
Of course, the new Tecno Phantom X smartphone does feature support for WiFi, LTE, GPS, Bluetooth, FM Radio, as well as a Type-C USB port. Adding to the nifty package are a gravity sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, accelerometer, as well as a sensor for ambient light.
For those who are particular about security matters, it also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of battery, the model’s capacity stands at 4,700mAH and, thankfully, does cater to 33W fast charging.
Camera setup and quality
As for its main camera setup the Tecno Phantom X possesses a triple rear camera which has a 50MP primary sensor that comes with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens (accompanied by a 120-degree field of view or FoV), a 13MP portrait lens, and an f/1.85 lens.
This camera arrangement is also inclusive of an impressive full pixel dual-core laser focus. To name some features of the camera itself, there is the Super Night View 3.0 and an optical and digital 20x zoom.
The front side houses a 48MP primary sensor plus an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens meant to enhance selfies and video calls. The front-facing cameras are also supported by flash which can be found alongside the speaker grill.
Getting news on premium phone launches is always exciting, but finding out just how much they’re priced at can sometimes make that excitement drop. Nevertheless, it may serve you well to look out for this fresh Tecno product’s official cost once the company actually reveals it. Need a couple more options for premium mobile devices?
