A Call of Duty: Warzone player recently revealed a glitch on the game that allows gamers to parachute in on different players’ Gulag fights and join in on the fun uninvited.
Bugs, hackers, and various cheaters have made quite the funhouse out of Call of Duty: Warzone since the free-to-play game was released back in 2020.
Although publisher Activision and its subsidiary studios, such as Raven Software, haven’t given up the battle against these ever crafty hackers, successfully eliminating all glitches and bugs doesn’t appear to be anywhere in the cards for the near future.
In fact, Game Rant has observed that every fresh season seems to come with new funky glitches, some of which are just plain nuisances (flashbacks to the woes of the Double XP event), while others end up making for rather enjoyable gaming experiences.
Glitches of the past.
Two years ago, a glitch on Rebirth Island posed quite a number of significant issues upon its release, to name a few; gamers could hide inside of walls to take other players out, and could even receive infinite revives, rendering the intensity of its battle royale rather pointless.
Moreover, players worked out means of escaping under the map, granting them more ease at picking opponents off without sustaining any serious damage from retaliation.
The most recently discovered Call of Duty: Warzone glitch, however, lets players barge in on matches they aren’t exactly meant to be a part of.
As demonstrated by NTrippy.
YouTuber NTrippy revealed the existence of this new glitch to his viewers, showing that he could quite literally interrupt other players’ Gulag matches.
Although he did edit out the part that would otherwise teach people how to activate the glitch, anyone who watches the video can clearly see what can take place after the fact. Upon activating the glitch, NTrippy parachuted right into the arena whilst two players were in the middle of dueling each other.
Although he could use only rocks, the YouTuber was safe from damage as the game kept him above the arena with a bird’s eye view, while letting him steal a kill through meleeing a combatant.
At present, no clear instructions have been given for accessing this glitch, but with word spreading fast, those curious may not have too long to wait. NTrippy himself claimed he would be putting up a tutorial on it within the next couple days.
With such frenzied possibilities looming on the horizon, it’s looking like Raven Software will have to think and work fast to get this Call of Duty: Warzone bug fixed before even more players hop on and take advantage of it.
Though bugs aren’t exactly the best news for game publishers, gamers do enjoy a “good” one from time to time. Anyone looking to get a taste of this Gulag chaos before the glitch is hopefully–or not–fixed as soon as possible can get to work on a PlayStation 5 or Xbox One to discover it for themselves, or until a clear tutorial comes out.
