Aside from Paris, her celebrity friends will also have their spotlight on the show. The show will highlight the cooking process from shopping for ingredients to cooking the meals. Netflix explains that “Paris will take us from the grocery store to the finished table spread, and she might actually learn her way around the kitchen.”
It is definitely not your typical cooking show as the host is not a trained chef herself but definitely something that will entertain the viewers. You can also expect lots of fun moments as the heiress explores new ingredients, new recipes and exotic kitchen appliances. Netflix added that viewers get to see the “very newly domesticated side” of Paris as she learns basic kitchen skills like sauté and sear. Lastly, viewers can expect glamorous outfits and wardrobe to be worn in the show.
According to Variety, the show is said to launch globally on August 4 with its six 30-minute episodes. It is also reported that Paris serves as the executive producer of the show along with Aaron Saidman, Eli Holzman and Rebecca Hertz.
Where Did Chef Paris Start?
You might be wondering, who thought of this idea? Well, Cooking With Paris was initially made because of a video that became popular back in January 2020. Paris posted a video on her YouTube account in which she makes her own version of lasagna. Here, we can also watch her chihuahua named Diamond Baby, dressed in a Chanel apron. As of today, it already has 5 million views.
Cooking with Paris is the latest project to be done by Paris. Aside from her chains of businesses, she recently opened her own production company, Slivington Manor Entertainment, and signed an overall deal at Warner Bros. Moreover, she also has an upcoming show tentatively titled “Paris in Love,” which features how she prepares for married life.
As excited as everyone, this show is definitely something to look forward to. Seeing how “the original influencer” Paris, a socialite, businesswoman, and model survives in the kitchen. What other dishes do you think you can expect from Paris aside from her lasagna?
