GTA Online players of Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation, rejoice!
GTA (Grand Theft Auto) Online, a multiplayer game mode found on GTA V, gets an exciting new update coming this July 20.
Called the “Los Santos Tuners”, this new update brings new vehicles like cars and motorcycles, ways to customize and personalize them, a place to show them off, and events, among others.
The said place to show them off is located in Cypress Flats. Called “LS Car Meet”, players get to gather and show off their tuned-up cars with various mods and customizations.
However, LS Car Meet is not only for showing off your cars to look flashy while being stationary; the new place is also where players can race against each other in new levels and unlock rewards to increase their “Reputation”, a new level-progression system included with the update.
If players still could not afford their desired cars, not to worry! Players can still visit the LS Car Meet to access the Test Track and Test Rides, the latter being the place where players can test drive cars normally out of their financial reach.
Numerous special shops like the Modding Area and the Private Takeover are shops that allow the players to decorate their space at the LS Car Meet.
For Next-Gen (or Current Gen) Consoles
Rockstar, the developer of the GTA franchise, has announced last June of 2020 that GTA V will be available to the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 by the “second half of 2021”.
The official date as it stands is on November 11. But what does this Los Santos Tuners update have to do with these latest consoles?
Rockstar has said that there are a select number of vehicles that will get upgrades such as customization and speed upgrades exclusive only to the latest consoles, namely, the Xbox Series X|S and the PlayStation 5.
It is unclear whether the mentioned “exclusive upgrades” would be available on PC, but one thing is for sure: any consoles prior to Xbox Series X|S and the PlayStation 5 will not get the tune-ups or upgrades.
The update coming this July 20 includes around 10 vehicles but Rockstar aims to deliver 17 vehicles in total by the end of the summer.
Grand Theft Auto V is an open-world action-adventure game first released in 2013 and has since been putting out numerous updates for the game.
Even if it is not yet available for these consoles, go grab an Xbox Series X or a PlayStation 5 ahead of time so that when the upgrade finally drops on November 11, you will not only get to play with a new console but be able to also access the exclusive next-gen only content found in GTA Online!
GTA V is also readily available on existing consoles such as the Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 Pro, and existing PCs.
