Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Tennis World Tour 2, and Hunter’s Arena: Legends.
Now, that July is coming to its end. Players are now looking for upcoming free games for the month of August. Surprisingly, it seems like, not just Playstation gamers were excited for PS Plus’ next batch of free games. Even Sony employees too!
A leaked screenshot from Wario64 trended on Twitter. It was an image screenshot of Sony’s official website. There, the company ‘accidentally’ released the set of free games of PS Plus for August. Of course, the website immediately took down the page.
PS Plus leaked games for August
On Saturday, July 24, GamesRadar released a report about the rumored leaked games. This includes Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Tennis World Tour 2, and Hunter’s Arena: Legends.
As said, this rumor was based on the popular leaker Wario64’s Twitter post.
As seen on the screenshot, it seemed like Sony mistakenly updated its page with the new list of August PS Plus free games. There are no reports on whether the leaked games were really verified or not. After all, Sony has not yet confirmed nor denied the claims.
If it’s confirmed though, these games will be ready to download starting next Tuesday, August 3.
All PlayStation Plus members are eligible to download the said games. Here’s the quick gameplay of all the rumored games.
Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
If you are a fan of the classic Plants vs. Zombies games, here’s a Playstation game for you. Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is a third-person shooter game, from developer PopCap Games. This game was initially released last 2019.
Just like the standard Plants vs. Zombies game, this third-installment game needs to battle with different kinds of zombies. Compared to other franchises though, the game will have various offered gameplay classes.
Tennis World Tour 2
Released in 2020, Tennis World Tour 2 is published by BigBen Interactive. This game is available for consoles like PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
This is a sequel to 2019’s Tennis World Tour game. Unfortunately, the original Tennis World Tour game did not receive high positive scores from different players when it was first launched.
Hunter’s Arena: Legends
Released last year of July, Hunter’s Arena: Legends is a 30 player PvP & PvE combat-based Battle Royale set in the ancient Aisa. If you’re not familiar with this game, it is because Sony has not yet released the game to the public.
Last May, Sony announced on their blog post that Hunter’s Arena Beta mode already closed to PS5 and PS4 consoles.
Now, the game will reportedly be launched alongside the PS Plus games in August.
How to download PS Plus Games?
First off, you need to remember that all games under PS Plus Games are free of charge. To claim these games, you need to wait to claim them until Monday, August 2.
There are times when Sony extends the period of downloading it– just like what happened to its July games. However, it is advisable for you to download them immediately before the clock runs out.
