League of Legends Patch 11.17 is just around the corner. But, there are some possible adjustments that players don’t want to have. Here’s why.
League of Legends Patch 11.17 is expected to arrive this coming August 25, and it seems like Riot Games, the giant publisher of the strategy title, is pretty confident with the announced release date.
This means that on August 25, players would see various hero adjustments and other in-game changes in the Summoner’s Rift. For the past few years, Riot Games has been releasing different kinds of updates that surely improved the gaming experience of League of Legends fans.
These include new champions, advanced hero adjustments, new in-game items, and more. Just like previous patches, various leakers already released some of the possible details of the new League of Legends Patch 11.17. Many of these in-game updates are expected to further enhance the current Summoner’s Rift so that more new players would be attracted to the game.
However, there are also some adjustments or title tweaks that players would be disappointed in once they are released in the upcoming League of Legends Patch 11.17. If you haven’t seen these leaked in-game updates, here are some of them and the reasons why gamers hate them.
In-Game Changes That Riot Games Should Not Release
Amumu’s Bandage Toss
Amumu, a mage-tank jungler in the Summoner’s Rift, is expected to receive one of the biggest hero adjustments in League of Legends Patch 11.17. This alleged change is specifically his Bandage Toss (Q). Some game industry leakers claimed that Riot Games could adjust his first skill, allowing players to use Bandage Toss twice in a row.

This skill tweak is expected to make Amumu a better ganker in League of Legends Patch 11.17. However, some rumors claimed that once this happens, Riot Games would nerf or weaken the hero’s magic damage.
Akshan Nerfs
Akshan is one of the newest heroes in the Summoner’s Rift. With his advanced skills and mechanics, League of Legends players could easily kill the enemy team’s cores when they are using Akshan in a match. However, since this ADR is considered to be too OP (over-powered), some speculations stated that Riot Games is planning to nerf the guy this coming Patch 11.17.
Lucian-Mid Lane Removal
As of the moment, Lucian is considered one of the best LoL midlaners. However, this new meta is quite unique since he is not a mage. This ADR allows players to fight AP heroes in mid-lane, especially those that are too OP. However, Riot Games is expected to adjust his skills and push him back as a bottom-laner. Players are now complaining about this upcoming change since it would allow unfair mages to dominate every match once again.
Fleet Footwork Fever
Aside from Amumu and Lucian, LoL Patch 11.17 could also change Tahm Kench. If this is true, Riot Games could nerf the support champ. Because of this, many players are now asking the giant title publisher to cancel the alleged hero adjustments for Tahm Kench.
