The Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones are what they’re called, and they’ll most likely be unveiled by Bose in the coming weeks. With a padded headband on top and earphones with physical buttons on the left and right, these earphones have a very simple, classic design.
Noise cancellation and transparency mode are combined in ANC, which was first seen on the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds. It’s a fantastic feature that helps you become more aware of your surroundings by making ambient noises more distinct and less harsh.
TriPort acoustic architecture and proprietary technology will be used to deliver audio. This set of headphones is said to include a volume-dependent Active Equalizer (Active EQ) as well as hardware capable of delivering a fully comfortable and powerful sound experience.
The new headphones are expected to include a 460mAh battery. Given the size of the QC35’s battery at 495mAh, this battery size would be a concern, but leaked data suggests the new headphones have a longer battery life than their predecessor. According to leaked information, the Bose QuietComfort 45 ANC headphones can provide up to 24 hours of continuous ANC playtime.
The battery life on the QuietComfort 35 series has been disappointing, clocking in at 20 hours with ANC enabled. Unfortunately, the 700 has the same amount of playtime. Nobody knows if the QuietComfort 45 will be any better, but a small detail from the photo leaks suggests an upgrade is on the way, at least in terms of charging.

The battery charges relatively quickly, taking about 2.5 hours from zero to full. A 15-minute charge should give you up to 2.5 hours of play time. The outdated micro-USB port has been replaced by a USB-C port. Bose made this transition with the 700, and the QuietComfort 45 will most likely follow suit.
There’s a power button, ANC button, and volume adjustment buttons, as well as voice assistant (if that’s the sort of thing you want to use your precious few physical buttons for on this piece of hardware). These headphones connect to wireless audio sources via Bluetooth 5.1, and have the option to work with a standard 3.5mm headphone cord – included in the box.
WinFuture leaked images of this hardware in two colors: black and white. It is possible that additional colors will be released in the future, but it is highly likely that these will only be available in two colors: black and white.
The Bose QuietComfort 45 (QC45) headphones will be available in the United States for around $330 USD. After 6 years (or more!) of waiting, these will be the headphones that you replace your QuietComfort 35 headphones with.
We’re going to look at a few different scenarios. The FCC filing, which shows a short-term confidentiality agreement between Bose and the FCC that is set to expire on January 12, 2022, could already hint at when the QuietComfort 45 will be released.
