Chris Pratt will play as ‘Mario’!
If you were born before 2000’s, Nintendo’s ‘Super Mario’ is probably the best game that you ever played. By getting that controller to jump on courses, or whether by saving Princess Peach on the storyline, this game has never aged for a while.
Due to the better technology nowadays, the said game is soon heading to theaters.
After Ryan Reynolds’ performance as Pikachu in ‘Pokemon Detective Pikachu’ film, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ actor Chris Pratt, is now ready to take over the Nintendo world as the ever-reliable plumber guy, Super Mario.
The announcement of Chris Pratt as the Super Mario voice actor in the upcoming CGI film is a very surprising turn of events for Nintendo fans. After all, you will never imagine an Italian short guy to be played by the hunk Pratt.
But, it turns out, a man in 2020 probably predicted this event to happen in the future. A Twitter handle named @general_sthe said on his post that Chris Pratt would play as Super Mario, whether given a chance for Nintendo to get it into big cinemas.
If you don’t believe us, here’s the evidence.
As said, Super Mario is one of the best-selling video games of all time. Over 380 million copies of Super Mario games are sold all over the world. With the character being recognized by almost anyone on the entire Earth.
That said, if Nintendo plans to remake the video game into a movie, it will probably gain more money than we can ever imagine.
But, just like other cartoon-video-game-turned-into-movie, actors playing behind their voices are still the determining factor in whether the movie sucks or not.
Super Mario film actors
As mentioned, Chris Pratt will already play as Mario, how about the other characters?
According to Tech Crunch, Nintendo announced the full list of all the actors that will play each role in the said CGI film. For Tech Visibility, we think they are perfect!
