Why Series S is Not a Next-Gen Console
Some Titles Perform Poorly
Xbox Series S can definitely allow you to play Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla without any issue. However, some popular games are now having some trouble since it doesn’t offer 4K resolution. These include the well-known FIFA 22. On the other hand, some consumers also complained about having some trouble when they are playing Resident Evil: Village and other newly-released titles.

Series S Might Get Worst on the Long Run
Some Xbox critics claimed that Series S would definitely have future system issues. One of these problems is about game exclusivity. Titles like the upcoming Dead Space remake have already been confirmed to be next-gen exclusives, which means they’ll push the boundaries of these consoles even further. This is why experts suggest that you get the Series X since it will only cost you $200 more.

On the other hand, Microsoft could move some games from Xbox Series S. Why? Because some players were already able to install games using cracks, which are still considered illegal. Despite all these reasons, the final decision would still depend on you. If you really want to get that entry-level Series S, then you have all the right to do so. But, these factors might help you to decide. You can either save $200 more or just take the available Series S.
