Motorola is preparing to introduce a new smartwatch to the market. The Moto Watch 100 will be unveiled by the Lenovo-owned company. The smartwatch’s renders and specifications have surfaced ahead of its launch.

It was previously reported that the soon-to-be-released watch would not be manufactured by Motorola, but rather by CE Brands Inc., a Canadian company. The smartwatch’s production details were revealed in a CE Brands investor report.

The Moto Watch was also listed on the FCC, which revealed some of the Moto Watch 100’s specifications and features.

Exclusive renders and specifications of the Moto Watch 100 have been obtained by 91Mobiles from a reliable industry source. The Moto Watch 100 will have a circular display with two buttons on the right side, according to the renders.

The watch will have a metallic finish, as opposed to the matte finish on the watch body. There will be no rotating bezel on the smartwatch.

The Moto Watch 100 has a 1.3-inch circular LCD display with a 360-by-360-pixel resolution. The watch case is made of aluminum, and the backplate is made of plastic. The smartwatch is paired with a 20mm wide silicon band.

A heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, HRM, SP02, and ambient light sensors will all be included in the Moto Watch 100. Aside from that, the watch will include a step counter and various activity trackers. The exact number of fitness modes, however, has yet to be revealed.

Phantom Black and Steel Silver will be the two color options available for the device. However, Motorola is expected to release the device in a variety of color schemes and strap options. It is expected to run on WearOS, just like the Watch 360.

The Moto Watch 100 is expected to weigh around 29 grams and measure 42x46x11.9mm. The width of the watch band is said to be 20mm. The Moto Watch 100 is said to be equipped with a 355mAh battery and Bluetooth v5 connectivity. In addition, the wearable is said to have GPS built in.

The Moto Watch 100 is said to lack a rotating bezel. The smartwatch is expected to include a heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, SpO2 sensor, and ambient light sensor.

It is also said to have sleep tracking and sensor counting capabilities. Other details, such as the number of sports modes and the battery life, are unknown at this time. The Moto Watch 100 has yet to receive an official announcement from Motorola.

Per a leaked press release, the Moto Watch 100 will undoubtedly be a budget option from the company.

We are also very excited to be on the verge of launching our next wearables’ product under the Motorola brand with the Moto Watch 100, which we are confident will further establish the Motorola brand in the expanding smartwatch segment.
