Axie Infinity has finally acknowledge the ongoing cheat activities in its platform. Now, the giant NFT title is trying to prevent win trading cheats.
Axie Infinity is currently one of the most popular NFT titles in the blockchain market, especially since its token (AXS) is having its value increase slowly.
However, there are still some days or months when AXS tokens extremely dipped. As of the moment, various experts claimed that Axie Infinity price set up three swing lows around the $90.59 support level over the past two weeks. The third tap off this barrier led to a 6% upswing to where AXS currently trades ($95.85).
While users can play it safe and take profits, there is a high chance that Axie Infinity’s AXS could reach for the next ceiling at $114.33. In total, this move would constitute a 20% advance. In a highly bullish case, Axie Infinity price could tag the $121.96 resistance barrier and liquidity resting above it.
But, because of this, Axie Infinity players want to earn more SLP (Smooth Love Potion) so that they can convert them into profit once AXS reaches its value peak. However, some of them are doing this in a very unfair way.
Sky Mavis Now Solving Win Trading Cheat
Sky Mavis said that it discovered some Axie Infinity players who are using the so-called win trading cheat, which allows them to reach a higher position in the leaderboard.
Axie Infinity is an NFT-based play-to-earn online title with a Pokemon-like format and a familiar visual style that grabbed gamers’ attention in the beginning. But what added to its popularity in the gaming community was the fact that players can earn rewards in the form of tokens, which can be exchanged for real money.
As of the moment, the developer of Axie Infinity already banned around 30,000 players from its platform due to the win trading cheat activities they conducted. However, Sky Mavis did not confirm if their accounts were removed permanently.
Unfortunately, just like any other game model, many gamers are tempted to abuse or exploit the system, causing developers to ban thousands of gamers. It appears that despite the security measures deployed in-game to ensure a fair environment for competitive players, the new cheating activity is still rampant in the NFT title.
Right now, many players of the popular NFT game are still complaining since other cheaters were able to surpass them on the leaderboard. Remember, once you reach the top 1000 players on the platform, you will receive a certain amount of AXS Shards.
Andrew Campbell, an eSports expert, explained that they “are aware of the recent reports of win-trading taking place on the Axie leaderboard. We take competitive integrity very seriously and are currently conducting an investigation into the situation.”
