Previously, Anker released its SoundCore Life Q20 headphones last 2020. This pair of headphones was a considerably decent pair that could be purchased within a mid-range budget. With continuous developments being done, an upgraded version of the competitive headphones entered the market later on last 2021. These are the SoundCore Life Q30 headphones.
The SoundCore Life Q30 had become known for its competitive noise canceling feature. This is a considerable step up in comparison to its previous model, the Q20. Other than that, the SoundCore Life Q30 has more features to brag about.
Some of the specifications of the SoundCore Life Q30 include:
- Playing time of 40 hours
- 5 minutes of charging for 4 hours of playing time
- Transparency mode
- Fast and easy pairing
The whole product package is kept in a sturdy box. Upon opening the box, the sight of the headphones case and the manual would be the one to greet the user. The headphones case is firm and sturdy and has a zipper to seal it.
Inside the headphones case, users would be able to find the carefully placed SoundCore Life Q30 headphones. Its design may give off a slick impression. Moreover, a magic pouch can also be found. Inside the magic pouch is the USB-C cable for charging and the cord for wired listening.
Other than that, the case also has a built-in cushion to secure the headphones. A small tag is also provided to show how to position the headphones inside the case.
Looking similar to the Sony WH-1000XM4, the SoundCore Life Q30’s design is quite slick. Moreover, there are left and right indicators on each side of the headphones. Cushions are also provided for the ears and for the topmost part of the head.
In general, these headphones are not difficult to use. Buttons can be found at the bottom of each side. The noise-canceling function can be found on the left side, while the play, pause, volume, and transparency mode options can be found on the right side.
Other than that, pairing is also not difficult. The headphones can easily be paired to the device used.
The noise-canceling mode works very well. This function can be enabled by pressing the noise-canceling button on the left side of the headphones. It works well such that the user’s own voice cannot be heard by the user.
Similar to Apple’s AirPods, the SoundCore Life Q30 also offers a transparency mode feature. To enable this, the listener needs to simply tap and hold the logo on the right side of the headphones. This mode works especially well for calls.
Especially when the noise-canceling mode is enabled when playing music, the headphones give off an excellent bass sound. When the headphones are taken off, the audio continues to play. Its sound quality is commendable and competitive as the bass is just right.
Overall, the pros of the SoundCore Life Q30 are its quality case, added comfort-boosting cushions, competitive noise-canceling and transparency modes, and excellent sound quality. The price of these headphones is $79.99, making them mid-range headphones. Other than that, it also offers different modes (transport, outdoor, and indoor) for its listeners’ context. Given these advantages, the SoundCore Life Q30 may be worth its price and worth trying out.
