
Apple released the second betas of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 to developers today for testing reasons.
The new betas bring new capabilities and enhance some of the modifications made by Apple with the previous iOS 16 release.
Lock Screen Photo Wallpaper
When customizing a photo on the Lock Screen, there are two new overlay choices to change the style of the photo: DuoTone and Color Wash.

Backups through LTE
Customers with iPhones and iPads can sync their devices via an LTE mobile connection as well as a 5G or WiFi connection. Apple introduced backup assistance for 5G devices in iOS 15, and expanded it to LTE in iOS 16.
Where to Find Astronomy Wallpaper
Now, the Astronomy wallpaper displays a green dot to show where you are in relation to it. The dot is included in the Earth wallpaper options, however it is only visible when the wallpaper is being enhanced and does not remain on the wallpaper all the time. Additionally, these dynamic wallpapers are now available for older iPhone models.
Editing of wallpaper
The Backgrounds section of the Settings app has been changed to make it simpler to personalize the various wallpapers that you set for the Home Screen and Lock Screen. To make it more obvious that settings may be changed, new “Customize” options have been added beneath the Lock Screen and Home Screen options. There is also the option to “Set as Wallpaper Pair” when choosing your style.
Apple Cash and Apple Card
The second beta of OSiOS 16 contains changes to the Apple Cash “Send and Request” interface. Instead of being two separate buttons, it is now one combined button, and the stability is demonstrated more clearly. You can also see how much Apple Cash you have made for the week in the “Weekly Activity” section of the Apple Card.

Screenshots
The “Save to Quick Note” option has been added to the Save to Photos, Save to Files, and Delete Screenshot options when saving a screenshot.
Remove Lock Screens
Swiping upwards now makes it easier to remove a Lock Screen.
SMS filtration
Incoming SMS messages from unknown numbers can be divided into 12 sub-categories with Transaction and Promotion classes for better organization, according to Apple’s launch notes. Messages facilitates occasion extraction from SMS for customers in India. EVent and appointment messages are displayed as Siri suggestions and made available to users in their message threads and calendar inboxes.
Stage Manager for iPad OS 16
A new Stage Manager setting can be found in the “Home Screen and Dock” section of the Settings app in PiPadOS 16 beta 2 on compatible iPads. While using Stage Manager, it displays options for concealing recent apps and the dock.
Junk Reporting for Messages
The “Report Junk” feature in Messages in iOS 16 beta 2 has been expanded to allow users to report SMS and MMS junk to carriers for some US providers.
Translate
Turkish, Thai, Polish, Indonesian, and Dutch are now supported by the Translate app.
Medical Kit APIs
Multisport exercises involving activities like swimming, biking, and running are supported by HealthKit exercise APIs for developers. Additionally, OSiOS 16 beta 2 supports HealthKit for the new operational activity metrics that Apple unveiled at WWDC. Operating energy, floor contact duration, vertical oscillation, operating velocity, and stride length are all examples of workout measures.
