This week, the Samsung TV Gaming Hub launched with both the Xbox and GeForce Now apps, bringing cloud gaming to even more people, especially those with Samsung TVs.
The moment is here. The July roster is also made public by Amazon Luna, which features some really intriguing titles.
With only a few games available across its several “channels,” Amazon Luna may be one of the newest competitors. Just this month, Luna published numerous games for the Prime Channel, including Far Cry 4 and Moving Out. Overall, Luna is performing well thus far.
Amazon Luna is releasing games for each of its four channels in July. First and foremost, the Luna+ Channel will receive a thrilling moniker, particularly for those of us who grew up playing with Hot Wheels automobiles. Hot Wheels Unleashed is a contemporary racing game set in, you guessed it, the Hot Wheels universe. What’s not to like about that?
In terms of the Retro Channel, two new games will be added to this iconic genre. A reboot of Earthworm Jim and Earthworm Jim 2 will be available on Amazon Luna. Worms Crazy Golf, which is more enjoyable for all ages, will be available on The Family Channel.
As is customary, the Prime Channel will receive a few games.
Here’s the rundown:
- Mega Man 11
- Overcooked! 2
- Castlevania Anniversary Collection
There are no release dates as of yet, which Amazon Luna does on a monthly basis. Everyone anticipate to hear more about these July releases from Amazon Luna within the next week or so.
This week’s big news is the official debut of the Samsung Gaming Hub on select Samsung smart TVs. Because it incorporates two major game streaming services, Xbox Cloud Gaming and GeForce Now, this hub places a strong emphasis on cloud gaming. Furthermore, Stadia is included in the list of apps.
The Samsung TV Gaming Hub is available in the United States, United Kingdom, Brazil, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, and Spain, according to GeForce Now. Xbox, on the other hand, claims that Samsung TVs are available in 27 countries. This is because, even if the Samsung Gaming Hub is not available, you can still download the Xbox app and stream your favorite games from there.
The automatic switch to low-latency mode for improved performance during gaming sessions is a new feature coming to the NVIDIA SHIELD in update 9.1. When you start a game, these settings are enabled in order to improve controller feedback and gaming performance. When your session is finished and you return to viewing TV, the SHIELD will automatically switch back.
This week, GeForce Now has introduced a few new titles:

- Disgaea 6 Complete (New release on Steam and Epic Games Store)
- Card Shark (Steam and Epic Games Store)
- KartKraft (Steam)
- Hotline Miami (Steam)
