Publisher Square Enix and developer tri-Ace have announced that Star Ocean: The Divine Force will be released globally on October 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC through Steam.
The game will be accessible on all systems in the west both physically and digitally. There will also be a digital deluxe edition that comes with the game, a digital soundtrack, and add-ons including an armor pack, accessory pack, and weapons pack.
In Japan, the regular physical or digital edition of the game will set you back 8,778 yen. Only PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 will support the physical edition. The price of the Digital Deluxe Edition is 11,858 yen. For 18,000 yen, there will also be a physical limited edition that comes with the game, an art book, a limited edition original soundtrack, two rubber key chains, and downloadable in-game goods.
The pawns, which can be used in the in-game mini-game “Es’owa,” are themed after Jack Russell and Ridley Silverlake from Radiata Stories as well as Lenneth and Lezard Valeth from Valkyrie Profile.
The characters’ in-game item weapon packs—the “Greatsword” for Raymond, “Lionheart’s Blutgang,” and the “Dual Blades” for Laeticia, “Flashing Naglering”—come with pre-orders for any digital edition.
