Carl Pei, the CEO and co-founder of Nothing, has disputed the claims that the firm intends to introduce the Nothing Phone (1) lite.

Nothing Company, helmed by Carl Pei, unveiled the Nothing Phone as their first mobile device (1). There was a lot of excitement surrounding the smartphone months before it was actually released.
It would be reasonable to assume that it was generally favorably received by the majority of tech aficionados, even though there have been some concerns with the device’s delivery and the Nothing Phone (1) itself. It’s to the point where many have been wishing for a lighter-weight and more affordable version of the Nothing Phone (1).
Without offering many details regarding the rumors surrounding the Phone (1), the first Nothing smartphone, Pei tweeted: “Fake news” after quoting another news source’s tweet.

The Nothing Phone (1) lite rumors began after another media outlet revealed the smartphone’s specifications in a report. According to the source, the Nothing Phone (1) lite will be a less expensive version of the popular Nothing Phone (1), and it will lack wireless charging as well as the brand’s iconic Glyph Interface.
Although Pei’s post may disappoint Nothing fans who were hoping for a glimpse of the rumored smartphone, a tweet from tipster Mukul Sharma may bring some joy.
According to the rumor, the “Lite” version would maintain the rest of the specifications, including the display, processor, and cameras. It was reported that the battery would be updated. A 5,000mAh battery was anticipated to power it.
Carl Pei took on Twitter to put all doubts to rest, revealing that all rumors about the Nothing Phone (1) Lite were false and that they had no plans to design or produce one.
Typically, tech companies, particularly those that make smartphones, don’t comment on rumors or ideas made on social media, whether they are genuine or untrue. Carl Pei was forced to proclaim this and explicitly refute the Nothing Phone (1) Lite’s existence.
It makes sense for Pei to publicly refute the rumors because a product with such a significant price gap may significantly harm the existing sales of the Nothing Phone (1).
Nothing is working on new wireless earphones designated Nothing B155 and Nothing B157, according to tipster Mukul Sharma, who goes by the handle @stufflistings. According to the source, the rumored earphones have also gained the SGS Fimko certification.
“The Nothing B155 and Nothing B157 wireless earbuds have received SGS Fimko certification, and the Nothing B157 have already cleared the Indian BIS certification. #Nothing #NothingEar1Stick #NothingEar2,” Mukul Sharma writes in a tweet.
Since its debut in 2020, Nothing has only released two products: Nothing Phone and Nothing ear TWS earphones. The company hasn’t yet provided any information about its next products, but Sharma’s tweet may thrill lovers of Nothing.
